1.) Be Consistent
The vast majority of podcasts people start don’t even make it past a few episodes. It’s impossible to get people to tune into your podcast if it’s defunct before they even hear about it.
2.) Find Your Niche
With millions of podcasts out there, it’s hard enough to stand out in the crowd. So find a niche that you are passionate about so when someone does hear your podcast it feels like they’ve found their people.
3.) Plan, Prepare, & Practice
Plan out your episodes, write out talking points, and have a tight show that doesn’t rely too heavily on post-production. Don’t script anything, but the more prepared you are the easier it will be to pivot when necessary in any given episode.
